Thang Long drop-forges pliers, wrenches, hammers and garden tools from chrome-vanadium and carbon steel, heat-treats them in-house and assembles bi-material handles. Retail programmes ship with blister or skin packaging and EAN barcodes. Founded in 2011 in Hanoi, Thang Long Hand Tools operates a 16,000 m² facility with 6 production lines and an annual capacity of 8,500,000 tools per year. Main equipment includes 6 drop-forging hammers, 2 induction heat-treatment lines, 20 CNC grinders, an electroplating shop and a torque test bench. Core materials are Cr-V 6150 steel, S45C carbon steel, TPR and PP handle compounds, nickel-chrome plating. The company employs 201–500 people, including 7 R&D and 12 quality-control staff, and exports about 62% of its output to European Union, Australia and Vietnam, with 10 years of export experience across 5 countries. The factory offers OEM production to customer specifications, ODM development from its own designs and private-label programmes.
