Where your money sits
CANG is a technology platform and never holds client money — funds sit with licensed partner institutions.
What is covered
Product not shipped
If the supplier fails to ship by the agreed date, your funds are refunded in full from the escrow account.
Quality does not match the order
Open a dispute within the inspection window with photos or an inspection report; a CANG mediator facilitates refund, replacement or price adjustment.
Quantity or specification mismatch
Shortages and deviations from the agreed specification are covered up to the order value.
Documents and Incoterm compliance
Release requires the shipping documents defined in the order (B/L or AWB, packing list, invoice, certificate of origin).
Disputes and mediation
Either party can open a dispute from the order page. Both sides submit evidence; a CANG mediator proposes a resolution within 5 business days. If unresolved, the escrow instruction follows the outcome of the partner bank's dispute procedure.

Frequently asked questions
Who holds my money?
A licensed Vietnamese partner bank holds funds in a segregated escrow-style account in your order's name. CANG never takes possession of client money.
When is the supplier paid?
Funds are released according to the payment schedule in the order — typically a deposit on production start and the balance on shipping documents or delivery confirmation.
Can I add a third-party inspection?
Yes. Book a pre-shipment inspection from the order page; release of the final balance can be conditioned on a passed inspection report.
How long do I have to raise a dispute?
The inspection window is defined in the order (7 days by default after delivery confirmation). Disputes raised within the window pause the final release.
Which payment methods are supported?
International bank transfer (SWIFT) in USD or EUR, and domestic transfer in VND for Vietnamese buyers. Card and trade-finance options are offered by partners on eligible orders.
