Da Nang Outdoor Gear sews coated and laminated technical textiles: trekking packs, 2–6 person tents, sleeping-bag shells and tarps. Seam-sealing, waterproofing to 3,000 mm hydrostatic head and a rain chamber for finished-goods testing are all done on site. Founded in 2012 in Da Nang, Da Nang Outdoor Gear operates a 11,000 m² facility with 9 production lines and an annual capacity of 900,000 pieces per year. Main equipment includes 160 sewing machines, 5 seam-sealing machines, a PU coating line, an ultrasonic welder and a rain-test chamber. Core materials are 20D–70D ripstop nylon, 150D–600D polyester Oxford, silicone/PU coatings, DAC aluminium poles. The company employs 201–500 people, including 7 R&D and 16 quality-control staff, and exports about 90% of its output to European Union, Japan and North America, with 11 years of export experience across 7 countries. The factory offers OEM production to customer specifications, ODM development from its own designs and private-label programmes. The typical minimum order value is around US$6,000, standard lead time is 45 days after sample approval and samples are ready in 12 days. Accepted payment terms are T/T and L/C and quotations are offered FOB, CIF and FCA, shipping through Da Nang port (Tien Sa).
